Já que vc faz questão de comentários… vou deixar o meu.
Grande!! Valeu! Era chatinho ter que mexer no gconf pra mudar a porta e a opção de lock.
Muito boa a iniciativa!
Great!. I have problems for connect with vino when I have compiz fusion. The display don’t refresh. Can you solve this problem?.
I disable vino and active x11vnc command, with -noxdamage and -overlay options. This work fine in compiz fusion.
Regards.
Please only post in english on planet Ubuntu so the largest number of people reading it are able to see the work you are doing.
Thanks!
I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. I got confused with wordpress tags 🙂
By the way, the problem with compiz was fixed in gutsy. (GNOME 2.20)
John, this revision is so MUCH better. Not only Advanced tab is now nicely splited in sections, so making less confusing and cluttered, but it solves lot of questions about spacing.
This one is good, go ahead with it! 😉
Cheers,
Peter.
This is one of the best things i’ve ever seen on gnome! Very useful! Thanks
John,
Jonh,
There seems to be a bug in vino (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vino/+bug/196675). It does not seem to have been solved as of today (2008-08-06).
Does it affect vinagre? If so, how?
I am about to start installing remote administration software on a few new machines. I never used vino/vinagre before (I’ve been a VNC user), but before I even try I’d like to know whether vino/vinagre are OK.
Thank you and congratulations on your work!
